Another question about the Targa Florio
I'm looking for others photos of the Alfa Romeo 33 of Jean Rolland in the Targa 1967.  
Au fait, vu qu'on est sur un forum français ce serait peut-être mieux de la poser en français  
Donc je cherche d'autres photos de l'Alfa 33 de Jean Rolland à la Targa 67. Avec Lucien Bianchi, abandon.

You are right, excuse me, I exchanged the numbers: n°74 is Hanrioud, n°76 is Toivonen!  
As regards tha Alfa, results to me that the crew n°17 was Rolland-DeAdamich (abandoned but classified, because they completed the minimum of laps what one needs); moreover I have got only a photo but it is not better than your, sorry!

Au fait, si Florio est le nom du créateur de " la Targa"(et le roi du Marsala) , doit-on attribuer le sens littéral de "Targa" pour obtenir sa traduction en français ?

Je ne connaissais pas cette photo. Il est vrai que l'éphémère revue Automobile historique nous sortait parfois de vrais trésors. Dommage que le prix de vente était un peu élevé ( certainement pour payer les droits de ces anciennes photos), ce qui a dû causer sa disparition.
Merci donc pour cette photo. Je vais essayer de m'attaquer à la miniature. Déjà je vois qu'il n'y a pas de rétro alors qu'un autre modéliste en avait placé un.

Je suis preneur aussi de la 33 de JR aux 24h du Mans 67 car je ne connaissais pas cette participation.
Je vais rechercher sur d'autres revues.

The plate (Targa) represents the prize given to the race's winner. Instead of to put up as a prize a cup (like Davis'Cup or America's Cup) he, inventor of the race, from very the start, puts up as a prize a bronze rectangular plate sculpted with low relief not ever unvaried in the years. Florio inventor's name + plate's prize = Targa Florio. Now is that clear?
To this day, the winner (Targa Florio Rally) is awarded with the same plate!
Below you can see the image of first Targa Florio, the oldiest competition yet fully operational; one year more than Indianapolis! Did you know this?

Aux stands, Jean Behra, 2éme sur Porsche RSK, verifie ses pneus après avoir relayé G.Scarlatti.
 

Jean Behra au volant. Remarquez sa position de conduite tête très renversée en arrière, c'est pour cette raison qu'il avait retaillé la visiere de son casque Herbert-Johnson comme on peut le voir sur la photo précédente afin de diminuer la prise à l'air.
 

La Ferrari de Hawthorn et von Trips, 3eme, passe devant l'Osca de Montovani / Scarfiotti.
