Pas tout a fait, ca veut dire Variable Noze Turbo, c'est a dire TGV par systeme d'aillette sur l'exterieur du carter, qui chnage l'incidence du flux d'air dans le turbo, a la difference du VAT (Variable area turbo) dont le geometrie repose sur un rack qui se deplace et qui modifie l'incidence des aillette du turbo meme, donc le rapport A/R.

I redid a 40-200 today with only 1 person in the car - its much slower than what I am aiming for, but u can compare it with your times :-)
 
I launched late at 42-43kmh just to be sure I wasn´t cheating LOL. Will do another when the car is 100% done just to compare :-)

On voit que je suis pas trop loin parce que je passe vite mes vitesses alors que Lars ne peut pas.... Par contre Lars peut monter dans les tours et pas moi...

Par contre la vidéo de 40 à 200km/h, il passe le 40/140 en 9.12s. Je modifie la vidéo et je la modifie par rapport a toi.

Hyper impressionnant!

well earlier I used my car for development purposes as I had a tuning company called LS Diesel Performance. Since I sold the shop - its been more for my own fun of it - trying to push the limits.
 
I use to race and also win some 402m races, but im getting a bit tired of it so now I want to build it for trackdays - not official tournaments but as an internal competition against som eof my other tuning-friends - who all build petrol cars.
 
yeh u can add the video - but as I said before its not the final run - was just to prove that the first video was with a lot of tools and a second passenger - no doubt i could make a time about 9,0 sek if I changed gears faster and tried a bit harder - but doesnt matter as the car is not finished.
 
Next step will extend over the next 14 days - 3 weeks - and hopefully I should gain some drivability and about 20bhp more...
 
so only aiming for about 210bhp - so wont be a rocket like the 205, but hopefully it will be better on a track

No doubt about it!
 
Could I ask you (once more maybe?) where does this envy to modifiy especially "gazoil" cars come from? I appreciate the challenge, the performance to find so much BHP on a poor 2.0... but I can't avoid thinking you've already tried to do so on "gazoline" cars (sorry, I think I'm not using the good words, hope you understand the main idea )

well I started modding petrol cars - did some work on a honda 1,6 vtec turbo 323bhp, 205 T16 318bhp, 205 1,9 8v 160bhp, seat leon +400bhp...and some other cars...think it started when I suddenly had a long drive to work and was forced to buy a diesel - I got upset it was so slow, and decided to change that :-)
 
And kinda got good at it, and stuck to that I think
