Targapedia.com was born in 2007,

thanks to the constant work that along with the web master Federica (my daughter) I carry on for eight years. Those familiar with the matter can imagine how much work needed in order to store images, reducing them to the web, crossing data to draft standings, produce everything that can be viewed by navigating the site. Add to this that I have a job (in life are an Anesthesiologist working for az.Ospedali Riuniti V.Sofia-Cervello in Palermo), I organize with a group of friends the Monte Pellegrino Historics - L'ultima vittoria di Nuvolari, an international event born thanks to Targapedia and now in its fourth edition, I write articles and participate in the drafting of books on subjects automotive-sports when I can realize models for hobby and finally I have a family life that divide between Palermo and the province of Enna.

You can therefore understand why the update Targapedia proceed with slow but steady pace.

I forgot that all this work is done only for passion and that access and download the contents of Targapedia is absolutely free, and that my choice in the site there are no banner ads.

In any case in two days of work are finally able to update some content of website and the homepage, also the Targa Florio in 1970 was completed in all its parts, the gallery, the Library and the Video-Library.

I am sure that what is written at least help the "impatient" ... to have a "little patience" ....

 

Targapedia.com è nata nel 2007,

si è retta e si regge sul lavoro costante che insieme alla web master Federica (mia figlia) porto avanti da otto anni. Chi è pratico della materia può immaginare quanto lavoro occorra per archiviare immagini, ridurle per il web, incrociare i dati per redarre classifiche aggiornate, produrre tutto quello che è visionabile navigando nel sito. Aggiungete a questo che ho una professione da seguire (nella vita sono un Anestesista-Rianimatore che lavora per l'az.Ospedali Riuniti V.Sofia-Cervello di Palermo), organizzo insieme ad un gruppo di amici la Monte Pellegrino Historics-L'ultima vittoria di Nuvolari, una manifestazione internazionale nata proprio grazie a Targapedia e giunta alla quarta edizione, scrivo articoli e partecipo alla stesura di libri su argomenti automobilistico-sportivi, quando ci riesco realizzo modellini per hobby ed infine ho una vita familiare che divido tra Palermo e la provincia di Enna.

Potete per tanto comprendere perchè l'aggiornamento di Targapedia proceda con ritmi lenti ma costanti.

Dimenticavo che tutto questo lavoro è fatto unicamente per passione e che l'accesso ed il download ai contenuti di Targapedia è assolutamente libero e gratuito, e che nel sito per mia scelta non sono presenti banner pubblicitari.

In ogni caso in due giorni di lavoro sono riuscito finalmente ad aggiornare alcuni contenuti e la homepage, inoltre la Targa Florio del 1970 è stata completata in tutte le sue parti, dalle Photogallery, alla Biblioteca e alla Videoteca.

Sono sicuro che quanto scritto quantomeno aiuterà gli "impazienti"...ad avere un pò di pazienza....

Et je viens de lire les 114 pages de ce topic que je n'avais jamais vu avant ( ou je ne m'en rappelais pas )

 

Je dois dire qu'il y a de superbes réalisations, bravo et d'autres qui mériteraient un peu plus de finitions

 

 

Pour ma part je suis grand fan d'Alfa Romeo, (voir mon site) et j'ai bien apprécié voir les différentes réalisations et modifications

Je crois que les tuyaux qui ont été utilisés pour envoyer de l'air frais dans la voiture, ils étaient présents. En fait, le même Piero Ferraro a fait à la peinture blanche sur le toit de la GTO en raison de "tropicalizzare" l'intérieur trop chaud, en fait les couleurs claires réfléchissent la lumière et n'absorbent pas la chaleur en contraste avec des couleurs sombres.

Et Piero Ferraro a déclaré dans une entretien qui en Sicile et dans sa GTO faisait vraiment très chaud!

J'ai lu un article récemment où il faisaient l'expérience de prendre le même modèle de voiture, avec les mêmes options, mais l'une blanche, l'autre anthracite, au bout de quelques heures au soleil sur le même parking, 5° d'écart dans l'habitacle entre la blanche et l'anthracite!!!

concernant les ceintures de voitures , elles furent brevetées en 1959 les Ferrari officielles en furent équipées courant 1967 , en 1962 ??????

"Shooting Star on a Prancing Horse" - Jonathan Williams

The book comes from the pen of the same Jonathan Williams, helped by close friend Michael Keyser in writing his long sporting history. Unfortunately, illness and death which occurred in August of 2014 did not allow Jonathan to see the conclusion of the work and the printing of the book.

Michael and Linda Shelley, partner of Jonathan, have thought of that, to complete the work, starting from the notes and photos that the pilot had given them. The result achieved is very good, a great book, well layout, full of unpublished photographs and well-written.

"Shooting Star on a Prancing Horse" tells the whole story of the British rider, even outside of the racetracks, from the beginning with a "Mini" to the period Ferrari, from the collaboration with Steve McQueen in the movie "Le Mans" to thee period spent to fly corporate jets to get to his retirement passed traveling in Southern Europe with a small motor home and the last years of his life in the sunny southern Spain.

Jonathan Williams has lived most of his racing career in Italy, running with the stables De Sanctis, De Tomaso, Abarth, Ferrari and Serenissima, has repeatedly participated in the Targa Florio, with no car to overall victory, Ferrari and Porsche still get important results, estimated by the Italian public that has always considered for that reason as one of its pilots.

It 'good to remember that Jonathan through "Shooting Star" have been the very people that he loved, Linda and Michael, two of them goes the heartfelt thanks from those who admired the style of the driver and who has loved man.

The book of 172 pages is written in English, size 22.4 cm x 28.6 cm, with 214 b&w and 117 color photographs and some nice memorabilia and a series of personal documents.

Il libro nasce dalla penna dello stesso Jonathan Williams, aiutato dal fraterno amico Michael Keyser nello scrivere la sua lunga storia sportiva. "Shooting Star on a Prancing Horse" racconta l'intera storia del pilota inglese, anche al di fuori degli autodromi, dagli inizi con una "Mini" sino al periodo Ferrari, dalla collaborazione con Steve McQueen per il film "Le Mans" al periodo trascorso a pilotare jet aziendali per arrivare alla sua pensione trascorsa viaggiando nell'Europa del Sud con un piccolo motorhome e gli ultimi anni della sua vita nella solare Spagna meridionale.

Jonathan Williams ha vissuto gran parte della sua carriera agonistica in Italia, correndo con le scuderie De Sanctis, De Tomaso, Abarth, Ferrari e Serenissima, ha più volte partecipato alla Targa Florio, con auto non da assoluto, Ferrari e Porsche ottenendo comunque importanti risultati, stimato dal pubblico italiano che lo ha sempre considerato per questo motivo come uno dei suoi piloti.

E' bello che a ricordare Jonathan attraverso "Shooting Star" siano stati proprio le persone che amava, Linda e Michael, a loro due va il grazie di cuore da parte di chi ha ammirato lo stile del pilota e a chi ha voluto bene all'uomo.

Cari amici modellisti-targofili........

ho preso un impegno con i miei tre amici Gabriele Guidetti, Umberto Cattani e Francesco Panarotto e ci tengo a mantenerlo !

In altri post lo scorso anno ho raccontato grazie all'aiuto di Gabriele come nasce, si sviluppa e si concretizza oggi l'idea di un modellino.

Quanti hanno lavorato e continuano a lavorare di stucco, di gomito, di plasticard, di stampi non possono no rimanere "basiti" di fronte alle nuove tecnologie. La conoscenza è sicuramente una risorsa in più e da modellisti sappiamo bene che una delle cose più belle ed affascinanti del nostro "passatempo" è il costante apprendimento e miglioramente delle nostre tecniche. I più High.tech di noi sanno bene che tra non molto le stampanti 3D "casalinghe" avranno costi più accettabili e saranno più semplici da usare... nuove frontiere da scoprire per i più coraggiosi ed intraprendenti di noi.....

La connaissance est sûrement une ressource de plus et comme modelistes nous savons bien qu'une des choses le plus belles et fascinantes de notre "passe-temps" est l'apprentissage constant et l'améliorement de notres techniques. Les plus "hi-tech" parmi nous savent bien que sous peu les imprimantes 3D "ménagères" auront des coûts plus acceptables et elles seront plus simples à utiliser... des nouvelles frontiéres pour les plus courageux et entreprenants...

 

 

La présence d'experts comme Gabriele, qu'au-delà d'étre un artiste sensible est une autorité internationale dans le rayon maquettes, et d'Umberto et Francesco, personnes de grande culture maquettiste et collectionneuse, garantissent la qualité et l'intérêt de ces rendez-vous.

Une autre raison pour s'offrir une vacance dans la belle terre de la Vénétie. Je serai présent personnellement pour le deuxième an consécutif... la nécessité de promouvoir la Monte Pellegrino Historics 2016, le plaisir de rencontrer beaucoup d'amis, une nouvelle idée intéressante à développer pour 2017.... et le désir de me rencontrer de nouveau avec Gabriele, Umberto et Francesco, ils sont des raisons plus que valides!

Carrera RS é uno straordinario libro che racconta tutto quello che è possibile sapere sulla Porsche 911 Carrera iniziando proprio dall'origine della leggenda Carrera e dell'omaggio fatto dalla casa di Stoccarda alla classica gara che attraversava l'America del Sud. Perchè come nella tradizione Porsche nulla è lasciato al caso e nella storia sportiva dl marchio sta l'essenza stessa delle sue auto sportive.

La parte fondamentale del libro è quella centrale, costituita dai capitoli che descrivono nel minimo dettaglio lo sviluppo e le specifiche tecniche della Carrera RS.
